After President Jokowi's visit to Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates agreed to form the IKN Fund.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is increasingly strengthening its intention to invest its capital, aka investing in the State Capital (IKN).
Most recently, there was an agreement to form IKN development funding (IKN Fund) through Indonesia's Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF), Indonesia Investment Authority (INA).

This plan is a follow-up to the two countries following President Joko Widodo's visit to Abu Dhabi after visiting Ukraine and Russia in a series of foreign visits.
During the visit, Jokowi and Abu Dhabi's crown prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan followed up on previous discussions regarding investment cooperation in the development of the Nusantara IKN.
Retno said that Jokowi's visit to Abu Dhabi resulted in another agreement, namely an agreement to prepare an investment package by Indonesia. In this case, the government is currently working on a draft Government Regulation (PP) related to investment in IKN.
"Continuing to discuss the implementation of the UAE's investment commitment for IKN development. So the investment issue for IKN continues to be discussed by the two countries," explained Retno.
Meanwhile, INA is currently processing the realization of investments in various projects, by utilizing the UAE's existing investment commitments of 10 billion US dollars.
Retno said that there are several projects being discussed with the US$ 10 billion fund, one of which is the Komodo Fund. This funding is allocated to support startup companies.
"The (Komodo Fund) is intended to support startups in the digital field, toll road construction, container terminal development at Tanjung Priok port, and cargo village development at Soekarno Hatta Airport," said Retno. (kemlu, kompas)
