Irfan said more than 47 thousand pilgrims will be divided into 128 flying groups (kloters) and will depart from nine embarkations.

"We have nine embarkations, namely Banda Aceh, Medan, Padang, Jakarta, Solo, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, Makassar, and Lombok. And served by seven wide body aircraft," he explained.

Irfan added that preparations for this year's hajj were really short when compared to years before the COVID-19 pandemic. However, he continued, his party felt grateful that the short preparation could be held to the fullest.
