The Regional and Building Design Competition at IKN Nusantara is Officially Opened

This competition aims to invite community involvement in the IKN development process.

Director General of Human Settlements at the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Diana Kusumastuti said PUPR opened a competition for the design of government office buildings for the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago in East Kalimantan.

Competitions are opened for buildings such as the Vice President's palace complex, legislative office complexes, judicial office complexes, and religious complexes.

Diana said the concept being sought was one that could not be separated from the vision of the Public Service Innovation Competition (KIPP), which is a forest and island-based future city model as a symbol of the transformation and progress of Indonesian civilization.

This competition aims to invite the involvement of the general public in the construction planning process, so as to get the best design.

The requirements for participants are Indonesian citizens (WNI and non-WNI who work together with construction consulting business entities that meet the requirements according to laws and regulations.

Participants are also a group that has expertise in architectural design. The group leader must be an Indonesian citizen and have a minimum competency of SJA Intermediate Architect/STRA Madya and have a TIN. One group consists of a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 10 people including the chairman.

Contest participants are also allowed to collaborate with other interdisciplinary disciplines, such as geotechnical experts, interior design experts, environmental engineers, and/or other related experts, as well as other general public. (pupr)
