Bio Farma strives for national resilience through national health independence by producing Indonesia's COVID-19 vaccine.

Director of PT Bio Farma Honesti Basyir Bio Farma (Persero) stated that his party had distributed 439 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

A total of 432 million doses of the 439 million doses of the Covid 19 vaccine have been successfully injected into the Indonesian people.

Honesti stated that until mid-August 2022 PT Bio Farma managed to distribute 439 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine to 34 provinces in Indonesia.

The success of the distribution starting from January 2021 to August 15, 2022 is supported by the innovation produced by Bio Farma, namely the Vaccine Distribution Management System (SMDV) program.

SMDV is a vaccine distribution guarantee system that can provide information about the safety, authenticity and quality of the product during the distribution process. And can detect potential disturbances during the distribution process quickly.

This SMDV utilizes digital technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Track and Trace, Transport Management System, and BI Dashboard which is gradually integrated with other systems inside and outside the vaccine distributor.

Honesti added that SMDV can be monitored through the Command Center which is centralized at Bio Farma, making it easier to monitor vaccine distribution in real time. SMDV has an impact on increasing the number of distribution points 18 times, from 34 points at the provincial level to 626 distribution points at the Regency/City level.

Bio Farma is pursuing national resilience through national health independence by producing the Indonesian COVID-19 vaccine.

The Indonesian COVID-19 vaccine has gone through the phase 1 clinical trial in February 2022 and phase 2 in April 2022. (biopharma, between)
