Ferdy Sambo's wife was seen at two locations and carrying out activities that were part of planning the assassination of Brigadier Joshua.
The Director of General Crimes of the Indonesian National Police Bareskrim Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi confirmed that the CCTV footage, which is important evidence of the premeditated murder case of Brigadier Joshua, was finally found.
"Alhamdulillah, the very vital CCTV, which describes the situation before, during, and after the incident in Duren Tiga, we managed to find with a number of investigators' actions," said Andi Rian, quoted from Polri's Instagram, Friday (19/8/2022).
Andi said investigators had examined 52 witnesses, including expert witnesses related to DNA, forensic medicine experts, digital analysts and inafis, ballistics metallurgy. Investigators have also confiscated a number of pieces of evidence.
Andi continued, from the newly discovered CCTV, investigators obtained circumstantial evidence indicating that Ferdi Sambo's wife, PC, was at the location, both in a private house in Saguling to the official residence in Duren Tiga.
Andi said investigators had examined the PC three times. The fourth examination of the PC was not present and only gave a doctor's letter informing the PC's health condition.
"A sick letter from a doctor asking for a 7-day rest, without the presence of the person concerned, the investigator carried out a case, and based on 2 pieces of evidence, witnesses and CCTV which were part of the indirect evidence which became an indication that the PC was at the location from Saguling to Duren. Three, and carry out activities that were part of the planning to assassinate Brigadier Joshua," he said. (photo: illustration)
