The implementation of the physical construction of IKN will begin next August.
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) ordered the Archipelago Capital Authority Agency (IKN) to build Nusantara City according to schedule.
"Mr. President conveyed the direction to make it possible to prepare for this in the future, while still being able to maintain the targets on the path that we will set in 2024," Head of Authority Bambang Susantono at the Presidential Office Wednesday (20/7/2022).
Bambang stated that the preparations requested by the president and leadership target three things.
First, the implementation of the physical development of IKN will begin next August. Bambang said that in August, infrastructure and building works will begin to be prepared.
Second, preparation for the implementation of a market interest assessment or marketounding to accommodate input from parties who wish to participate in the City of the Archipelago. It aims to accommodate and opportunities provided by various parties.
In the area that we are building, in area 1A, in other words, in the central government area (KIPP), there will be several points where we will build for example health facilities, educational facilities, then facilities for daily life," he continued.
Third, prepare local communities living near IKN to take part in various trainings. The government prepares training in construction and non-construction fields. (antara)
