Jokowi asked the National Police to thoroughly investigate the shooting. "The legal process must be carried out," said Jokowi briefly in Subang, Tuesday (11/7).
The head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the National Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan stated that the police shot the police at the house of the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, located in South Jakarta. In this incident, Brigadier J died.
The perpetrator of the shooting was an aide for the Propam Kadiv security with the initials Bharada E. According to the National Police, Brigadier J was involved in a shootout with the perpetrator after the wife of the Police official shouted. Brigadier J reportedly abused Ferdy Sambo's wife.
After that, Bharada E who heard the scream suddenly came to the scene. Brigadier J panicked because he met Bharada E when he was about to leave the room.
A total of seven shots were fired by Brigadier J. However, none of the bullets hit Bharada E. Ramadhan said this was because Brigadier J's shooting range was about 10 meters from the ground floor.
Bharada E responded to the shots five times and several of them hit the victim to death.
It was said that Ferdy Sambo was not at the house at the time of the incident. However, the wife immediately called her husband to return home immediately. (antara)
