Indicator Survey: The Majority Of The Public Values The State Of The National Economy Is Bad

The survey was conducted to 1,228 respondents which took place on May 5-10, 2022.

The Executive Director of Indonesian Political Indicators Burhanuddin Muhtadi reported that the results of the Indonesian Political Indicators survey showed that the majority of the public viewed the current national economy in a bad condition.

"More people say bad than good," said Burhanuddin Muhtadi at a press conference, Sunday (15/5/2022).

The survey details, as many as 1.7 percent of respondents think the current national economic condition is very good. Furthermore, 28.6 percent considered it good.

As many as 30.3 percent of respondents considered the national economy to be in good or very good condition. There are 31.4 percent of respondents who assess the national economy in a moderate situation. Then 30.5 percent considered it bad and 6.3 percent very bad.

That way, there are 36.9 percent of the public who place an assessment of the condition of the national economy as bad or very bad. Meanwhile, there are 1.5 percent who do not know or do not answer.

This survey was conducted using telephone contacts to 1,228 respondents which took place on May 5-10, 2022. In this survey, the margin of error is estimated at approximately 2.9 percent at the 95 percent confidence level. (ipi, kompas, foto: ilustrasi)
