He compares if you look at several other countries in ASEAN, the price of Pertalite is relatively high, such as in Thailand at Rp. 19,500 per liter, Vietnam at Rp. 16,645, and the Philippines at Rp. 21,352.
Therefore, in increasing fuel prices, the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) has succeeded in becoming a shock absorber through energy subsidies.
Meanwhile, to maintain price stabilization, Airlangga said that the Central Inflation Control Team (TPIP) and the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) continue to encourage policy programs related to price affordability, supply availability, smooth distribution, and effective communication with the public.
