Covid-19 Task Force: Travelers Must Have Booster Vaccine Starting July 17

The Covid-19 Task Force has issued the latest circular regarding provisions for domestic travellers.

The Covid-19 Handling Task Force requires a booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine for every domestic traveler. This provision applies to users of all types of transportation modes.

These rules are the contents of the Circular of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Number 21 of 2022 concerning Provisions for Domestic Travelers received in Jakarta, Saturday (9/7/2022). This provision takes effect on July 17, 2022.

The provisions in the circular state that transportation users who have received booster doses no longer need to show evidence of antigen testing or RT-PCR. Meanwhile, those who have just received a complete dose of vaccine or two primary doses are required to show a negative result of an antigen test valid for 1x24 hours or RT-PCR which is valid for 3x24 hours.

Provisions for travelers who have just received the first dose of vaccine must show a negative RT-PCR result which is valid for 3x24 hours. Meanwhile, those who have not or cannot be vaccinated due to certain diseases are required to show a negative RT-PCR result which is valid for 3x24 hours along with a doctor's certificate from a government hospital.

Travelers aged six to 17 years are required to show a two-dose vaccine certificate without showing a negative result of the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test. 

Meanwhile, those who have just received the first dose of vaccine or have not been vaccinated are required to show a negative RT-PCR result which is valid for 3x24 hours along with a doctor's certificate from a government hospital.

Travelers under the age of six do not need to show a vaccine certificate or negative swab antigen/RT-PCR results. However, they are required to travel with a companion who meets the requirements for vaccination and Covid-19 checks. (satgascovid, antara)
